Yes and the other 50 he got against Middlesex was vital too. Dickson has done very well to recover from his disastrous start up here, now looks like a good signing after all.

I'll reserve judgement on Dickson until he performs regularly in the CC. Bancroft 's recent performances are a cause for concern. The sooner he is recalled by Western Australia the better for all concerned.
We're currently 2nd in our division of RL50 with 3 games to play.

There's no doubt that Dickson has (had) ability. The hope is that his recent glut of runs gives him the confidence to translate that form into the red ball game.

last night's thunderstorm and deluge didn't materialise

today's heavy showers haven't materialised

just feels like it's saving itself up for tomorrow. Doubtless the prospect of ruining 50% of the cricket scheduled for the height of summer in one fell swoop will be too hard for the weather gods to resist

Apparently he should have had 5 wickets but dropped a catch off his own bowling. Surrey somehow managed to lose despite needing 4 runs from the last over!
