Yes,given the likely conditions we need a predominately defensive top 4 so I'd go Lees, Dickson, Jones and Borthwick and hope together that 4 can see off the new ball. After that we bat down to 10- I'd be more than happy with only 2 down at lunch regardless of runs scored.Reckon there'll be about the equivalent of 2 days play in total so we'll be playing for bonus points with hopefully the 8 points for the draw.

I agree. A lot of depth in the batting so if the top 3 can blunt the attack we will be well set.

10-2 after 30 mins feels very optimistic to me

I suppose much will depend on whether Alex 'the wall' Lees pays. The Welsh Assembly might bung the ECB a load of money to buy the ashes/help Glamorgan avoid insolvency sanctions tell Lees to have the day off

Martin Emmerson says it's a day for bowling and that's what we are doing. Clark and Gibson are the two omissions.

Trevaskis does indeed get a go. I have no problem with that, but it does surprise me a little.

After early wickets, Glammy are building a stand despite rain delays

Yes, certainly would have expected more than 4 wickets.

According to criinfo this is only the second FC match Colin Ingram has played in since 2017!

Pretty fair summary by Ben
Durham all-rounder Ben Raine told BBC Radio Newcastle: "It looks like a good wicket but, after a day under the covers, you've got to have a bowl. I think they would have done the same.

"They batted quite well, batted very positively and they're very small boundaries all the way round so it's going to be a good-scoring game.

"I think we could have bowled a bit better but it is hard to judge at the minute. I think it's fairly even."

Ingram is in for Labu the beast, presumably, given that he is now a 3rd overseas player. He's been a white ball specialist in recent years. Once Labu and Neser arrive he'll go back to it

we have to take full advantage of Labuschagne's absence, because he is a game changer

seems to be a lot of rain floating about

Glammy all out for 234, a couple of decent partnerships at the top of the order, but nothing annoying lower down. Once the main partnership was broken the rest went fairly easily. The wickets shared amongst the bowlers, so a reasonable start

Just need to get out there now and see what the batters can do.... if the weather lets us

packed it in for the day.

47 overs yesterday and 27 today :no

yesterday they had rain, hail and lightning.... today Blackwell fancied an early tea, an early evening meal, a soak in the bath, a late evening meal and a bit of supper

Good news is Stokes' knee scan reveals no damage and is "expected to be available for Durham is early May".

Think the forecast for the last 2 days isn't too bad. I've been out so not seen the action but looks as if the bowlers must have upped their game after the modest performance yesterday.
