this is one of those really bad horror films, that is so bad and so gruesome that you relly should turn it off, yet somehow you feel compelled to stay watching out of a morbid desire to see if it can possibly get any worse

kept off the strike by the new batsman, he tried to manufacture another six off the last ball of the over, didn't get all of it and a good diving catch in the deep sees him kicking himself with every step on the way back to the dressing room

lets hope we realise that going off all stupid at the start is probably the best way to get a massive negtive run rate which will drag us down all season. Sometimes it works and spectacular victories are won.... but it hardly ever happens, so sensible batting is required to try and keep the NRR respectable. If the opportunity arises to go after it, then fair enough, but don't go all half cock and throw wickets away cheaply right at the start
