According to Martin Emmerson our worst T20 campaign was 2017 with 10 defeats. We're on track to equal it - lost 8 so far and this is the penultimate game.

I'm confident that our lead high performance coach can lead us to that ignominious landmark.

our innings.... 4.1 overs.... 28-1
their innings... 4.2 overs.... 53-1
No matter what we do in the field, and there are so many things wrong there, we are just ssiping in the wind, because we are losing matches batting in the power play.... or in our case the limp play

I doubt Turner will be busting a gut to come back next year. We also need to decide what to do with Sowter. He's been flogged around a bit at times, but he seems able to take wickets. I suppose it all depends on how much money he wants, but given the difficulties we have taking second innings wickets in the CC because of a lack of leg spin options (I refuse to acknowledge Capt Beaky as a leg spin option) he might be worth a punt, at least in the short term.

Derbys are rollicking along at over 10 an over helped in large part by the 14 extras that we've handed them in 8 overs
