Interesting day. Batting looked trickier than expected given the conditions but there seems to be something in this pitch for the bowlers.
Odd thing was that the new ball did a fair bit but most of the wickets fell to the older one - lots of playing and missing throughout though. Big first session in the morning.

I'm struggling to decide how we are doing. we lost 3 wickets this morning, but one was the nightwatchman. I'm guessing we've been on and off a bit, because only just over 20 overs were bowled

Definitely a bowling day - de Leede and Patel have granted your wish - we'll probably concede a lead but the deficit is only 40 now. 173/9 - 215/9.
