Doesn't speak much for Moeen tbf. When England just concentrated on drying up runs with accurate pace bowling, Australia most of the wickets. Ali's figures are pretty horrific.

I don't put no ball wickets down as lost chances,

England bowled 15 no balls in that innings.... that just smacks of lack of preparation to me. Getting your run up right is surely just a basic, even more so for someone with Broad's experience.

Seemingly England have stopped bothering with no ball checks in the nets. Perhaps they should go back to it. Bowl enough no balls in a match and eventually the Khawaja non dismissal is going to happen.

I'll say it again... the 2 drops and the no ball have probably cost England another 100 runs in first innings lead, and it has most certainly ceded the advantage that would have given them in this match. Now they kind of have to start all over again. Even of they win this game, they can't afford to do this stuff throughout the series. It's just sloppiness

Mo has a big role in the second innings, so needs a long rest and come out positive. Likely England will need a contribution from him to go one up.
