We keep moving Pretorius up the order and he has 22 runs from 20 balls, but he's hit a four and two sixes, meaning he's scored 6 runs from the other 17 balls, so he must miss a lot of scoring opportunities..... not ideal for somebody batting at 5. Jones or Bushnell at 5 probably hit those 17 balls for 20

Leicester is what I heard but don't know if that was just someone's guess or they know something. If he does go I wonder if it's his decision or no contract extension on offer? Parkinson coming in is likely to limit his opportunities but Trevaskis provides squad depth and presumably isn't on massive wages.

Yeah, he's been a bit underwhelming so far with bat and ball. Batted OK in the red ball games but he hasn't looked like getting many wickets.

Carse the only one of our players involved in The Hundred so far. Ryan Campbell was talking about players potentially returning to their counties - he wasn't sure about the rules ( said he hadn't read them properly!) but seemed to think anyone who misses two consecutive Hundred games could come back.

trouble is, if we aren't playing in the one day cup on the same day that the players aren't playing in the nonsense, then I don't see how we get them back.

That's what I don't understand either- maybe why Campbell was unsure about the regulations.

According to The Cricketer site it works this way - seems a bit vague to me...

players not selected for their previous two Hundred games will be able to slide into their county sides for One-Day Cup fixtures, so long as they do not clash with their team's Hundred matchday. All parties would then have to agree to the player playing for their county.
