I'm very surprised to find that it is one unheard of spinner who is wreaking all the carnage, whilst the other unknown spinner has completely strangled any scoring from the other end

well that was all a bit of a shambles, really

not often we'll have a side 61-5 and end up losing by 93 runs

That disastrous first over probably ended our hopes but I think the bowling is an issue. I couldn't follow the Lancs innings the other day but - even though the margin of victory was comfortable- the post match interview with Campbell suggested the bowling towards the end wasn't good- and it certainly wasn't today.
Probably will be an unpredictable tournament so this might be a blip but our white ball bowling seems erratic.

I thought the wording about the Wagner signing was a little strange- said he would play the remaining Championship games and also available for selection in the RL 50 games. I'd he's available for selection why not play him? Unless they have decided to use the competition to give the youngsters a go. Not a bad idea but if he's available for selection against Sonerset on Wednesday I'd have him in!

Potts might be available at some point given that hundred players can still be made available. He may be surplus to requirements now that Stokes is available again and has to play in the hundred as part of his England contract.

Somerset tomorrow

I think I'll go. Weather looks good, I'm not at work and we aren't looking after any small people. I really enjoyed sitting under the CD stand in the shade last year with the cool breeze coming off the river
