BBC highlights had a scorecard from about ten years ago with similar first innings scores which SL won by 100 runs after a third innings recovery.

Englands tactics have been poor. Too short and straight... 6 men out on the leg side to Chandimal.... Which has pushed the bowlers to aim middle and leg ...
New ball is key. If SL can keep this partership for another 15 overs, it's game on. But this is the last stand... A quick wicket and it could end quickly

Dimuth Karunanratne who has the ability of scoring big hundreds needs to show that he can do so in SENA nations as well. The experienced trio of Dimuth K, Angelo and Dinesh Chandimal needs to contribute significantly on this tour.
Milan Rathanayake gave wicket to Joe when he bowled to complete Mark Wood's over. SL always were in backfoot as most of the batting unit failed. Still soem fight was there as anything over 200 batting last and few wickets can create pressure and panic in the opposition batting lineup. Atleast this was not one sided like other tests which end in 3 days. First test of the series in England, SL haven't done that bad.
