Who else? Duckett, stick with Smith?
Or Johnny Blameless?

.I'm not sure why you seem to have an attitude about it considering there isn't many options available and I'm all doing is trying to figure out the best players from a very limited amount of information in 50 over cricket.

From all available evidence, none of the players England have picked are better than others playing List A cricket.
Jake Libby averages 30 more in List A cricket than 2 or 3 players Englland have picked recently, and at a higher or similar SR.
You telling me he is worse than Jamie Smith then? Bat's quicker, scores nearly double the runs an innings.... statistics from the same competition.
Of course not. The whole point is England are picking players who failed in List A vs ones that did not.... solely on how they perform in tests/FC or OD.
The sample size argument is a total red herring. I don't need huge sample sizes to tell me players with 25-30 games under the belt averaging half at slower speed are WORSE than others.

I understand and appreciate all that but you also have to take into account the standard of the comp....with all the best players playing in the hundred the bowling attacks are weak and budinger Libby etc are pummelling attacks that you won't see in associate cricket most of the time let alone international cricket so even that isn't a reliable guide to a persons ability.....it all boils down to the fact we need a better 50 over comp
