Getting treated to another exhibition of brilliant umpiring at Hove. Tom Clark given out lbw to a ball that hits him about 5 cms above the top of his pad, and quite a distance outside off stump.... any chance we can sub the umpire out? My god, if he thinks thats out he needs a new profession

The ball was gun barrel straight at Hove for 25 overs, then in the space of one ball Worcestershire have it going all over the place from both ends. I'd be checking some pockets for sandpaper....

Lunch on day one at Chelmsford 80-1 from 32 overs...rajitha the most threatening of the bowling attack surprisingly only bowling 5 overs though.....10 overs of spin used with thain still off the field with that split webbing.... critchely should get a longer bowl as the 5th howler then which is good as always think he should bowl more ..he got considerable turn in his only over before lunch.....good looking pitch harmer with a lot of work to do this afternoon
