Starting to think that Tom Clark must have taken the umpires daughter on the worst date in history. Bowls one on the off stump line, Kashif Ali wafts at it, the ball passes the bat and deviates about a meter through to Simpson..... not out.

The ECB should really do something about these Warwickshire pitches. After watching the Sussex game on a dross pitch, we now have 7 wickets in 7 sessions vs Surrey on the same deck. And inbetween, they pick a random practice pitch to see if it has more life, and team gets bowled out for 70.

This is a test venue, it has to do better.
