Clark has made himself undroppable, another classy innings at a good tempo- although I think be was perilously close to running himself out on 99 judging by the fielders reaction!

there is certainly the chance of a win for us, with little chance of a defeat, but I agree, the draw looks favourite

still, Notts didn't do much in the first innings apart from Hameed, so why not? Their middle order looked really flaky on Friday afternoon, so if we can get into them early we might make something happen. A bit of a long shot though

Poor pitch this one, I think, yet it might yet produce an intriguing final day

Good to see Robbo coming back into a bit of batting form. first there was his unbeaten 20 to win at Worcs, then 76 against Hants, before his 141 today

Clarky is definitely undroppable atm. If he can keep this up for another match, then he ought to be in good nick for the hit and giggle.

when I turned up on Friday, it took me ages to spot him and I got a bit confused because I thought I saw a number 15, so for a few minutes I did really believe that we'd dropped the guy who made 160 in his previous innings. Then I did spot him and discovered that Bedders wasn't in the side. No idea why I thought I saw a number 15 on the pitch

664 is our highest ever score seemingly, beating the 648-5 dec that we scored, also against Notts, in 2009

Liam Patterson White's 5fer is the 5th of his career..... I wonder how many of that 5 were against us. at least 2 if memory serves

he took 5 fer in 2022

he hit 165 and then picked up 7fer and 6fer last month against the seconds, but that won't count (remarkably, we won that game)

he's from Sunderland, apparently, which I didn't know. I wonder how he ended up at Notts?

he got a 5fer last year against Surrey and he got 5 fer on debut against Somerset in 2019. Don't know about the missing one

I got here just after the 4th wicket went down. Nothing since, but to their credit Notts are looking to play their shots. A couple just after lunch would be nice, before the lead disappears completely. This would be stunning win if we can manage it.

Over rate is -3, so if we had to settle for a draw we don’t want to give 3 points back. Old George beat the bat first ball in the over before lunch. He’ll probably have to bowl quite a few overs this afternoon

Joe Clarke is holding everything together for Notts (as Hameed did in the first innings). I wouldn't be surprised if this turned out to be his first hundred in about a year when his terrific early season form suddenly and inexplicably fell off a cliff..... a bit like Robbo, actually
