just as a little aside.... Sowter and Parky have 1-12 and 2-16 from their combined 6 overs. They've really restricted the dangerous batting of Northants, but I suspect neither are going to bowl out

Not for the first time I have been proven wrong! Thought at the halfway stage the men were heading for defeat and the women were in a good position- so naturally the men win comfortably and Notts cruise to victory in the other game.
