Ultrashort boundaries might make the total feel smaller.

I don't suppose they will, but I think England should do what India don't want them to- play for the draw.

Maybe time to rest him. Confidence can't be high. And being solo spinner is exposing.

England have only scored 600 runs at home in any innings 4 times in my whole life. This total is now beyond academic, there is literally no point batting on.
You can say any number of things about the pitch, bazball and scoring rates or whatever.... 600 aint happening. No way.
