England have a chance with 240 plus, but it feels way too short to defend this unless this is a long last stand

India have simply Outbowled us again

They have just been more accurate. No chance we will defend this unless we somehow take 4 or 5 wickets in the first 25 overs.

150-4 to 185-9 just not good enough again

He's out in the middle, but not scoring any runs.

Not sure what Archer is doing. You either take the single or take the chance. Blocking and refusing singles is not going to work.

England surpass the five times their stumps were knocked over in the first innings. Six this time.

None for India though.

Bashir will face up now... id get Siraj back on.

Not sure of Gills thinking there. Gave Bashir a single for any hit into the offside. Simple block, gets off strike straight away

If Crawley is still in the team for the next game its getting to the point where fans need to boycott the game or have a protest

Very dissapointing effort with some horrendous shots. Especially duckett, Crawley and brook.

Ducketts lazy hack set the tone for the day

Then collapsing to sundars non spinning spinners the cherry on top

Sundar wraps it up. Well done India. Took control of the game when it was finely poised at half way.

McCullum has said before they don't care about his performance, only his occasional match winning ability, so I dont count on it.... but that was a long time ago, so maybe his subpar efforts will finally be held accountable.

Brook wins for me. Duckett had a go at a ball not short enough and was a poor judgement, but trying to slog sweep a fast medium yorker on middle stump sets new boundaries for stupidity.

The weirdest thing is, it feels like England got really lucky to get to 190. India produced so many half or good chances, at one point it felt Bumrah must have been hexed by some sorcerer last night...

The pitch isn't that bad despite how much the English commentators want to cling to. You have 10 overs to do a lot of damage, after that the really radical bounce died. There is some unevenness, but its slow. You should be able to block it.

As BFP said, getting 4 players out Sundar who got zero turn off the pitch probably sums it up. Cant blame the pitch when you miss 49 mph straight ones

Goes without saying, but banging in half trackers like they have all series isnt the way. Need to take a lesson from Siraj, Sundar and Bumrah.... full and at the stumps please
