Club cricket blog 26-27 season

After having stood down a couple of seasons ago after a few seasons at the helm of my cricket team I have been re-appointed as captain for the coming season...the side was relegated last year after a tough season on and off the pitch so I have agreed to take over next season and try to guide the side back up to the league above....I will update on here as well as go through the winter training etc we will be doing.... hopefully people enjoy reading

Indoor nets begin middle of January for 10 weeks 2 hour sessions...30-45 mins fielding drills and then net sessions...starting slow first week or two then ramping up the intensity as get closer to the season starting

Yeah had kinda hoped my captaincy days were behind me but will go again and see what happens haha

Season feels a million miles away when you look outside at the moment but indoor nets will be here before we know it

It feels so good to be back on the field playing the 20, 30, 40 and 50 overs matches, isn't it? The entusiasm in resuming club cricket is one of the best things after a break. Which over formats are played in England club cricket, Andy
