Good get out of gaol effort from England. Curran outstanding with the bat (and some useful assist from Dawson and Rashid) and then the spinners really did a job on what must have been a bit of a nightmare surface for batting.

Who knows what relevance these warm ups will have for the WC ? But 3-0 for England here while Australia go 0-3 down in Pakistan should at least give them a bit of confidence going in.

Also confirms my feeling that what Duckett needs is a rest rather than being in this squad. Hopefully with Salt fit again he won't be needed at the tournament but surely someone else would be a better back up given his total loss of form.

Obviously dosent make up for a lot but surely we gotta be happy? Go to Sri Lanka who don't tend to lose at home and beat them in both odis and t20s..
