it was the sensible thing to do, imo. If Nuno wants to stay and try and bring the side straight back up, then let him. Seemingly both parties were in a position to walk away without financial cost to the other

Besides, if Nuno wants to stay and Bowen wants to stay, then maybe that helps limit any player exodus mainly down to those players that WH don't want, or can't afford, to keep

I was talking to someone today and a relative of hers had been to see him at the Tyne theatre on Sunday, just gone, when he announced the news. I had assumed that this Tyne theatre announcement was made a little while ago, but it was just the other day. The great man was in fine form, seemingly, and looking as fit as a butchers dog, so it might not be that imminent. I don't know what cancer it is, because it hasn't been made public as far as I'm aware. KK said there are treatment options, so I guess we wait and see.... although he also said that the top cancer guy he went to see excitedly told him he had a high success rate and he thought he was going to say 80% or something, but that high success rate turned out to be 33%
