Mady Villiers might be feeling hard done by today in the test.

She didn't get to bowl until India had got a big partnership going mid afternoon and then had to bowl 19 overs in the second half of their innings, which suggests she must have bowled almost continuously. She picked up 2 wickets, had a bat pad catch not given and not reviewed because NSB had already burned 2 of their reviews on daft leg side catches that didn't touch the bat, and then to rub salt in the wound, NSB dropped a catch off her bowling too, late on

Ecclestone will get the plaudits, but I think Villiers did pretty well for someone who's been off the England radar for quite a while. Made a couple of really good fielding stops too

Stokesy was there today, working hard in the nets with Benks. At one point he ran in his pads all the way from the nets to the pavilion and then reappeared moments later with a helmet in his hand and ran all the back to the nets with it. It was 27 degrees at the time and the sun was beating down

looks a lot like he really does intend to play in the one day cup. Wouldn't it be great if he carried on playing for us for another couple of seasons?

Derbys were in a bit of trouble in their chase of 166, but with 2 overs to go, they need 27 off 12 and the current partnership of 35 has come in 21 balls

If we don't get a wicket, they could very well chase it down, I reckon

well, amazingly we are not quite out of the race for the QF's yet, but both Somerset and Essex have to lose tomorrow combined with a win for us, our NRR being superior to both of them

we haven't played like a team that deserves to go to the QF's, tbh, but if the unlikely was to happen, then I suppose we must have deserved it, because the points and the NRR would say we did.

we finished bottom of the 4, so I presume that means we face Hants in the SF. The one team we haven't beaten

always a first time, of course, but Hants will also have their England big guns back for finals day
