Take me to the Riverside 2026

[captaincolly]

Yes, there were all sorts of rumours flying around and it does seem strange that he suddenly left his England role and has kept a low profile ever since.
Maybe Di Venuto could be an option?

[Durhamfootman]

I wondered about Diva too. V low profile since leaving as Surrey coach 6 years ago. I think he's a batting coach with the Australia national side

[Durhamfootman]

golly, yes. far too early

you're scaring me now

Yes! It will be interesting to see who it is. Campbell such an influence and big personality so presumably it needs to be someone of similar stature.

What about Colly?

Just spotted this

I'd have Colly in a heartbeat.... I can't imagine why his wasn't the first name to pop into my head

[andy]

Charlie Harmison son of Steve Harmison has signed a two year deal with durham

That makes me feel old! I can remember when Steve was starting out.

[Durhamfootman]

Robbie Bowman and Luke Symington too

all have signed rookie deals until the end of the 2027 season

[Durhamfootman]

2 year deal for Luke R

[captaincolly]

Has great potential- just needs to stay fit!

[Durhamfootman]

12 month deal for Ghafari until the end of next season. Took 16 wickets in the one day cup.... our leading wicket taker

Well deserved contract.

[Durhamfootman]

we have signed Danielle Collins from Lancs on a 2 year deal. She played in 3 of our last 4 one day cup matches, scoring 17, 15 and 3

she played twice for Lancs, scoring 12 and 22

Hmmm

Oh dear! That's not encouraging.
Bedders out in the 40s in both innings v Australia. SA will do well to save the game - 8 wickets in hand going into the last day.

[captaincolly]

6 wickets remaining not 8!

[Durhamfootman]

2 year deal for James Minto

2 year deal for James Minto

I like him. Hasn't played much for various reasons but he has real potential. Handy with the bat too.
