Head is out, but Aussie will struggle to lose from here, with SA to bat last. Draw is an outside bet though.

I've never been a great fan of Maddinson, but I was very pleased to see him: 1. get off the mark; and 2. make a decent score; 3.... did not eventuate, however.

Judging on the desert of batting stocks at Australia's current disposal, Matt Renshaw has probably done enough in the last 3 days to get a very long run in the team. Well done to him. His record away from Australia in his first run was frankly not even close to being good enough, but he's shown a lot of grit this game to dig in and produce results.

One might be inclined to ask why Australia waited so long to make changes in the middle order. I'd like to see Cooper Connolly in for next test, surely Marnus is running out of plank...

Carey goes, Webster edges falls short of slip...145 kph.and ball falling short of slips!

Webster needs runs I think he is under more pressure than anyone...clear Cummins dosent rate his bowling never uses him and been a while since he scored runs...he needs a 40* or something here I think especially if green is fit for the next test

It would be hard not to.

Durban has had some decent run chases before now. 380 must be tempting, but I couldn't imagine Cummins settling for much less - time remaining, of course.

So much there for the spinner though...and the scoring rate has almost slowed to a halt....Webster can't get going and Renshaw has slowed right down
