South Africa Vs Australia odis & Tests

[andy]

Australia in a hole at 66-6!

[andy]

66-6 at lunch smith 2 away from 11,000 test runs

[Arthur Crabtree]

Seven down and SA advantageously positioned. Impressive fightback after their submission at Durban.

[andy]

Smith has gone past 11,000 test runs! But he is struggling he has a neck problem and he looks in serious discomfort

[Arthur Crabtree]

Looks like SA are a bowler down, which will be a problem when Australia bat again.

[andy]

9 down and Rabada has 200 test wickets!

Is Nortje injured again?!

[GarlicJam]

Will Bavuma enforce the follow-on?

Being a bowler down must be playing on his mind. He might be risking Rabada or Jansen for the next test

[andy]

Apologies 200 test wickets in SA

I would have thought given time restraints they have to enforce it? Bowlers should be relatively fresh extra rest with all the rain and only bowled 42 overs between them so far

[andy]

99 all out...Nortje has a groin injury and highly unlikely he will bowl again...

[andy]

Lead is 326 for SA and it appears they have enforced the follow on... definitely right decision

[mikesiva]

South Africa 425-9 declared

Bavuma 179
Jansen 85
Harmer 82

Boland 5-81
Starc 3-89

What a recovery from 110-6!

Great fightback.

They would fancy their chances of being able to enforce the follow-on.

Follow on enforced.

Australia 99 all out

Smith 28

Jansen 5-33
Mulder 2-14
Rabada 2-33

[andy]

Real balancing act for Bavuma with a bowler down, Rabada only had a 3 over spell up front and harmer will have a lot of bowling to do on a pitch which isn't offering him a lot

[andy]

Jansen drops head off the bowling of Mulder!!!!

[andy]

Tea - 50-1

[andy]

Marnus is out for 39, 103-2 deficit is 223
