Regarding our old mate, KP. I agree with what Cork said last night. If he has or were to meet the players/coaches or at least the important ones and say "I was wrong and I'm sorry" then he should return.

I’d have thought that being the same type of spinner as our first choice would be a good reason for being chosen as cover.
Panesar is simply not good enough in other areas of his game to be chosen ahead of another spinner who can bat a bit and field too. With their ability to play spin on their home tracks, I doubt India will fear Panesar at all. He has so little variety to his bowling that, other than giving a paceman a rest and perhaps being economical, it is difficult to see how he may contribute.
Regarding, Pietersen, perhaps he has already been asked to do that and, for some reason, hasn’t.
