Its a response to a particular statement made by a poster. Dont see anything wrong in what AC said.
Dont we blame newspapers continuously for picking quotes out of context and printing them?

Forming friendships in international sport is one of the good things about the whole enterprise. I've never heard that cricketers are allowed to communicate in only limited means.
