BCCI themselves now produce the coverage as of the NZ series. My guess is this isn't about money at all but about that altering and other techy things Sky would bring... 500k demand stops that and gives back some control.
Apparently Star's comm will be on the red button too.

I don't know if cricinfo is blocked, I just assumed they cut costs by having commentary from home.
