Kevin Pietersen's Autobiography.

What's buzzing in the world of cricket....

I understood he was playing as professional for a league team until Clive Rice got him to Notts. I thought he only had a trial at Warks.
Work expands to fill the time available, so why do today what can be put off until tomorrow.

Athers started off as a leg spinner.

It's complete nonsense however that KP was not a more than capable batsman when he arrived in England, he made 92 in his first ever game in England for Warks.

But athers was never a great batsman. Didn't KP bat at nine for his saffa side?

He did, but he was good enough to be batting in the middle order when he turned up in England. In his first full season in England he averaged 57 with the bat.

Was that at Notts? They obviously saw something that the his south african side missed.

It was, he played his first match for Warks, scored 92 but they didn't sign him. Notts picked him up and he promptly averaged over 50 from his first game to his England debut.

KP had attributed his improved being over that time to his spell at Cannock where he didn't get to bowl much.

In his auto, KP says Rice got him a place at the club. I don't think he mentions Warks. He doesn't say much about it though.

Do you reckon? I give it 12 more before it gets locked for a short time due to a pot calling a kettle black perhaps.

No. Nothing of the sort. KP is a divisive type though.

BN: KP did some things right, some things wrong.

Unnamed poster: You are wrong.

BN: I am glad that you feel that way but it this is my interpretation of events based off of my inside knowledge.

Unnamed poster: You're a tw@t.

Third-party poster: I don't think that is right, he did do some things right and some things wrong.

Third-party poster: BTW s/he is not a tw@t. S/He is an @rse.

Unnamed poster: You are speaking cr@p.

Third-party poster: ssip off.

Unnamed poster: Who doos you think you are?

Third-party poster: I think that my handle makes it pretty clear that I am Third-party poster num-nut.

Unnamed poster: It is people like you who made 606 have to shut down.

Third-party poster: No it is muppets like you who believed that Bradman was better than Tendulkar.

Unnamed poster: You racist so and so.

Moderator: Calm it down guys.

Moderator: BTW Tendulkar was better.

So on and so on.

I thought that was a giveaway as well.

I know I'm not in there because there's no reference to old films.
