surely if you got 6 bowlers and they getting whacked you basically just share the load out especially when the batsman are picking Stokes and plunkett with ease.
Think they see him as only good for the early overs when some swing is on offer. Lack of pace makes him vulnerable in the later overs ?
But as you suggest , he could hardly have done any worse ! They do seem to stick to plan A despite the new image , new coach , etc. the batting has been modernized ; but not sure about the bowling.
