in fairness to them though, Stainless Steel and her Ladyship are doing all the scoring, so the rest are either coming in swinging to try and grab what they can before the end of the innings, or they are coming in trying to stop the rot and looking to hang in there and try and salvage something.
I think Lees and Handscomb are both natural accumulators anyway, they don't seem to be big hitters in this format, and so it's the above who have to try and up the rate... take all the risks as it were.
Bangers would have been able to do both, accumulate or attack, but he's better employed somewhere else atm.... I forget where
we do need to find a big hitting finisher from somewhere ahead of the 2020 campaign. Who that might be I don't know
it would help if SS and DA didn't keep following each other through the exit door quite so quickly quite so often. It's as if they are completely comfortable batting together, but once one goes the other thinks he'll have to grab runs as fast as he can because the batsman at the other end can't be relied upon
